CONGS is a student organization formed to represent Ohio State graduate students working on nanoscience and engineering and related fields. CONGS works under the auspices of the OSU NSEC center to help promote research, collaboration, and professional development of NSEC-related graduate students. CONGS also organizes both professional and social meetings and online collaborative tools.
In 2007, CANPBD membership has grown to over 50 students covering undergrads, graduate students, and post docs from OSU and affiliated Universities. CANPBD maintains an impressive diversity both in culture and academics. Our ranks span chemical, electrical, mechanical and materials engineering, as well as chemistry, physics, medicine, and pharmacy, and also ethics, humanities, and social sciences.
In
order to stay in-tune with the needs of the CANPBD members, the CONGS
Executive Board is
comprised of 7 members including students from the engineering,
science, pharmacy and medical departments.
